Team Spain in 2nd place - Team Germany 1 captures sixth daily victory and is third

Team France with Christian Lavieille and Francois Borsotto has won the Transsyberia Rally 2008 powered by Sony Ericsson. During today’s stage, the French managed to carry their lead of more than two hours over Team Spain invulnerably to the rally’s destination. The 14th leg led the pilots over 367 km from Mongol Els to the Mongolian capital Ulaanbaatar. Team Spain (+ 2:15:25) is in second place of the overall standings, ahead of Team Germany 1 (+ 2:21:14), which captured its sixth daily victory in today’s special stage.
